Set in the Ayrshire countryside friendly staff, Dalgarven is the perfect venue to remember your loved ones.

We understand that organising a funeral tea can add additional stress to an already emotional time and we promise you our sincere compassion and kind care and attention.  Choosing a venue is always a difficult decision to make but if you come to Dalgarven you will benefit from a setting beside gently flowing waters surrounded by natural beauty and home cooked food. 

An afternoon tea style buffet usually works best and we have 2 main areas to choose from. Our riverside orangery overlooks the river Dalgarven and seats up to 80 with rectangular farmhouse tables.  Our function suite can seat up to 120 guests and we have a smart projector if you wish to display photos or videos of your loved one during your reception.

We have 2 bars which work well as overflow space to allow your guests to wander and mingle and of course in the summer there are lovely gardens for your guests to enjoy. Our facilities are available from 1030 until 330pm or later with prior arrangement. 

Prices start at just £9pp for tea/coffee, biscuits, sandwiches and sausage rolls.  Optional add ons pp are:

1.  Lentil or cream of leek and potato soup –  £3.50
2.  Home made victoria sponge cake and lemon drizzle cake – £3
3.  Welcome bottled beer, or 125ml glass of wine – £4
4.  All of the above – £9pp

We can accommodate up to 120 guests in the Garnock function suite (Min booking of 90) and up to 80 in the riverside orangery (Minimum booking of 50).
